Dialogue brewery has a good grasp on the sour style but their Sour Raspberry was my favorite. This beer executed the wonderful balance of tartness with bright fruit flavors a classic sour should have. The taste displays high acidic characteristics with light notes of raspberries sweetness with a dry finish. The aroma was filled with pops of sour raspberry notes that will tickle your nose. The beers appearance was inviting with a glowy tangerine color with very low foam and had moderately high carbonation. If you want a bright delicious sour beer to enjoy on a warm summer day then go to Dialogue and get ready to pucker up with this refreshing beer! I really enjoyed this beer.

Sour Raspberry has a lively and sparkling clear orange/red glass appeal with a small foamy white head. Sweet malt backbone aromas hide beneath raspberry overtones. Very acidic and tart. First taste is puckering sour followed by smoother berry flavors that are left to linger on your tongue. As with most sours the flavor and aromas are dominated by the yeast (sour) and the fruit is left as subtler notes.
Overall a very well balanced sour ale. I enjoy the heaver side of the sour scale and this ale delivered for me. I would recommend “Sour Raspberry” to all the sourheads and anyone else who enjoys puckering ales!
